  • How are Easter services different than a normal church service?

Easter is pretty much the same as our regular services, but with a bit of extra excitement because Easter is like our Super Bowl! You can expect a time of worship, a special Easter message, and a handful of baptisms—all totaling about 60 minutes.

Each Easter service is the same, no matter which campus, or time, you attend

  • What should I wear?

Come dressed how you see fit. Some people may be a little more dressed up for Easter, but we’re a more laid back church. You might see a suit or two, but most people are dressed casually and you’re certainly not expected to dress up. There’s no judgment here

  • Is there a Good Friday service?

Join us for Good Friday at New Hope - services are at both campuses

    6:30pm - Good Friday - Apr. 3rd - Cambridge & Isanti Campuses

Good Friday is a night where we slow down and remember the death of Jesus—and why it matters so deeply for us today. It’s a meaningful, reflective service that helps us prepare our hearts for the hope of Easter.

This service will feel a little different than a typical Sunday at New Hope. There will be extended worship and a shorter, more contemplative message, creating space to reflect on the weight and beauty of the cross.

HopeKids will be closed for Good Friday, but kids are absolutely welcome in the service. Every HopeKids-aged child will receive a fun activity bag with coloring and quiet activities to help them engage during the service.

Whether you come often or this is your first time, you’re invited to come as you are and experience Good Friday together as a family.

  • Am I expected to give money?

Nope! There’s no requirement for you to give, especially if you’re new.

We will mention giving when one of our pastors is on stage because it’s part of how we worship and it’s a regular part of our church culture, but you’re certainly not obligated to give any money. Enjoy the service and enjoy our church!
